Our Club Championship on Feb. 9 at Omni Center was a winner. The fundraising for Club Affiliation Fee with USCF was sufficient. We needed 18 entrants to break even, and had 23, so the Club treasury gained $25 dollars. The Open section was settled in 3 rds. with Bill Orton winning with 3 points. Dave Grisham, Mike Simpson and Steve Elkins were next at 2.0. The Reserve section took 4 rds. and still was settled by tiebreaks. Justus Thao of Lincoln and Dylan Holloway of FCC had 3.5, with Thao winning on Solkoff tiebreaks. Thanks to all who participated. — Les K.
